Just a small glimpse into a little clear plastic toolbox I found that I proceeded to stuff with little scraps of paper and fabric and some old Strawberry Shortcake stickers, and other junk. Seeing all those little bright colored things in there all jumbled together makes me happy. I remember trying to amass little boxes of scraps as a child, but my mother always made me throw them away after awhile. It's colorful and pretty, and now that I'm old, no one can make me throw it away.
It's been a lazy day - I don't work on Fridays anymore, but I woke up at 5:45, stressing about bills, so I got up and paid some, and then I went back to sleep until 11, got up and went to visit my cousin Joann and her baby Isabella, and found out that they are expecting ANOTHER baby, which is awesome. I came back home and straightened up a little bit, and talked to Rick for just a little while, and I am currently sitting on the couch, contemplating whether or not I should buy a $30 shelf and put it in the corner of the dining room, because I am really beginning to NOT like scrapbooking in my bedroom. It's too messy and it's getting all on my nerves.
Well, I'm going to go throw my sheets in the washer and clean up my "creating space" AGAIN, since it seems to mess itself up every half hour or so.
